Pineapple Pork Chops

I got this recipe from my sister's best friend a few years ago and it became an instant favorite!

4 pork chops
1 can pineapple; reserve juice
1/4 c soy sauce
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 c. brown sugar
parsley

Trim pork chops; place in ungreased 8x8 baking dish. Mix juice, brown sugar, soy sauce & garlic powder together and pour over pork chops. Cover & marinate approx 8 hrs, turning once. Heat oven to 350* Top with pineapple. Cover with foil & bake for 45 min. Uncover & bake for an additional 5 min. Garnish with parsley.

(I usually serve this over rice)
